Tracy Spiridakos has been nominated for most outstanding Actress in Television for NBC's post-apocalyptic sci-fi show Revolution. Spiridakos was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to the Greek heritage of her parents. When she was 4, her family moved from Canada and moved to Skala in Greece, near Sparta. They returned when she was nine years old. She strongly identifies herself with her Greek family and heritage, and she is proficient in Greek. She graduated from Oak Park High School in Winnipeg at the age of 2000. Spiridakos made the move from Vancouver for the 2007 season to study acting. Within a few weeks, she got her first role on television, a small part on Supernatural. After a few years of being on television, the actress got her first big part as a starring role in Majority Rules, in the year 2009.
