Zoe Saldana was born on the 19th of June, 1978, in Passaic, New Jersey, to Asalia Nazario and Aridio Saldana. Her father is Dominican as was her mother, while her father is Puerto Rican. Her mother is from Puerto Rico as is her father, Dominican. Her family relocated from Queens, NY and to the Dominican Republic when she was 10-years-old; they stayed in the Dominican Republic for 7 years.
