Justin Bieber's bilingual version of Despacito came out in the year 2017. Then, numerous famous artists began collaborating with reggaeton singers. Drake collaborated with Bad Bunny for MIA (2018) in addition to Madonna worked with Maluma for the release of Medellin. The year 2000 saw a number of reggaeton artists were expressing displeasure at its inclination towards mainstream.
